Brigantine Updates

From Sea Wall to Brigantine Promenade

The Sea Wall has a new name, the Brigantine Promenade! With a whopping $1.2 million grant from the Boardwalk Preservation, the promenade is set to receive new railings, lighting, ADA accessibility ramps, and adding more boulders to the sea wall. In this episode of Brigantine Living, Tiger Platt talks with Ester from Casale al Mare about Brigantine's vision for extending the promenade in the future by 275 feet towards the Northeast, providing enhanced access for locals and visitors alike. Right now there’s no exact timeline on when updates to the Promenade will begin as the city and county are still waiting on money to come in and to begin bids on these projects.

Adding Memorial Benches

In addition to the the promenade receiving new railings and lighting, there are also plans to add more memorial benches along the promenade, providing a serene space for reflection and honoring loved ones. If you are interested in a plaque for a memorial bench, visit Brigantine’s CER for information on the application process.
